If you enable Apple Health in ZenTimer, completed mindfulness sessions are synced using Apple HealthKit permissions. ZenTimer may also read mindfulness sessions from Apple Health to show stats, streaks, and progress when you grant permission. You can revoke access anytime in Apple Health settings.
ZenTimer uses privacy-focused analytics to understand whether core features work well and where the app needs improvement. Analytics is controlled by the “Share Anonymous Usage Analytics” setting in the app. If you turn it off, ZenTimer stops sending analytics and resets the anonymous install identifier.
Analytics may include product interaction data, purchase-related support events, coarse mindfulness-session buckets, and an anonymous device-level install identifier. This data is used for analytics only, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking.
ZenTimer does not send timer names, custom text, exact session durations, exact timestamps, Apple Health payload details, advertising identifiers, contact information, or account information in analytics events.
The ZenTimer website uses lightweight attribution through App Store campaign parameters and Google Search Console for search performance insights. The website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
